What actually gets collected
The contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address, a subject and your message. Everything in that message is up to you, so please keep health details to the minimum you are comfortable putting in writing.
Leaving a comment under a journal post records your name, your email address and the comment itself. Your name and comment become public once approved. Your email address never appears on the site.
Subscribing to the newsletter records your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
The server keeps ordinary web logs: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request. These are what every web server writes in order to run and stay secure.
Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser, not on the server. There is no account system, no profile and no tracking pixel anywhere on this site.
